The co-owners of a popular downtown Victoria restaurant announced they will be closing next week after 10 years in business.

OLO Restaurant (formerly Ulla Restaurant) made the announcement on Facebook Tuesday afternoon, saying that their final night in business will be October 28.

Co-owners Brad Holmes and Sahara Tamarin, who signed the announcement, said that they sold their lease at 509 Fisgard as it was “time for someone else to live their dream in this incredible space.”

“Thank you to everyone who has dined with us over the years,” Holmes and Tamarin wrote.

“Thank you to the fantastic community of farmers, growers, producers, fishers, foragers, and more who have let us share their beautiful products.

Thank you to our families for being so supportive and for loving us. And, most especially, thank you to all our wonderful staff over all these years.”

As Ulla Restaurant, Tamarin and Holmes took home awards in 2011 for Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants, and in 2013 for Van Mag’s Best of Victoria, among many others.

Reservations are available for booking up until the closing date through the OLO Restaurant website.

Dear Friends,It has been an incredible 10 years since we opened our doors as ulla restaurant. The journey has been full…
