VicPD responded to a report of a man armed with a tire iron allegedly chasing another person Thursday afternoon.
Police tweeted at 2:18 p.m. that officers including a K-9 unit were dispatched to Vic West where the assault was allegedly occurring.
Shortly after, at 2:30 p.m., VicPD tweeted that a potential suspect and victim had both been located.

There were no injuries in the incident.
Police are still investigating.
