Campbell River man arrested with wagon full of guns

Campbell River RCMP have arrested a man after he was found hauling a load of guns through town in a wagon.

Police responded on December 12th at 1:30 p.m. to a report of a man pulling firearms in a wagon in the 2100 block of Dalton Road.

The man was a 37-year-old local who the RCMP say is well-known to them.

He was apprehended and four firearms along with a large stash of ammunition were seized by police.

The man was also in possession of multiple other items, which are believed to be stolen property.

He has been charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and careless use of a firearm.
