The Esquimalt Lagoon bridge will be closed to traffic temporarily as a film crew takes over the area for a few hours this weekend.
According to a bulletin posted by the City of Colwood, the bridge and a section of Ocean Boulevard will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday December 13.
The closure is to allow for the filming of a Hallmark movie called “Today is not your day”, produced by Hope Road Productions Ltd.
Signage at all waterfront access points will let drivers know when the bridge is closed and where they can turn instead.
The rest of Ocean Boulevard and access to the beach will remain open but there will be no access to the waterfront from Fort Rodd Hill during the hours specified above.
