Get free local delivery from your favourite restaurants and shops in downtown Victoria

Share

This year, more than ever before, supporting local during the holidays is so important.

Not only do small retail businesses of Victoria have to compete for business with big box stores and services like Amazon, but they also must combat the massive effects of COVID-19.

Which is precisely why Downtown Delivers was born; the perfect combination of supporting local AND getting exactly what you want in a timely fashion, and better yet?

Delivery is completely free!

The DVBA has launched the unique delivery program just in time for the holidays, and it will run at least until January 15th, 2021.

What exactly is Downtown Delivers?

Downtown Delivers is a program that subsidizes delivery fees through specific partners, making deliveries from downtown retailers free of charge to local customers.

As of December 21st, this program now includes meal deliveries!  Through local delivery company, Tutti, Downtown Delivers removes the delivery free for local customers and downtown restaurants alike.

Which businesses are a part of Downtown Delivers?

Businesses in the downtown core – within the DVBA boundary – are eligible to utilize Downtown Delivers. However, it is up to the businesses whether they choose to participate. Connect directly with retailers to find out whether they are offering free shipping through Downtown Delivers. For food deliveries, check the Tutti app for all participating restaurants.
