Men shooting replica firearms into water at Inner Harbour arrested

VicPD arrested a pair of men after they were reportedly seen shooting replica firearms at the water in the Inner Harbour.

Police were called on Friday, December 18th shortly before 11 a.m. for a report of men shooting pistols in the 1100-block of Wharf Street.

The report said that two men were shooting their pistols into the water of the Inner Harbour.

Patrol officers arrested the men near Fort and Langley Streets as the men were leaving the area.

A search of the men produced a replica firearm on each man, as well as a set of carbon fibre knuckles and bear spray.

One of the men was wanted on a warrant for a break and enter. He was taken to cells to await court.

VicPD are still investigating the incident.
