The City of Nanaimo is partnering with sponsors to hold a COVID-friendly holiday skate through late December at Frank Crane Arena.
Residents can register for a session at $2 a person from December 21, 2020 to January 1, 2021.
Sessions will be limited to 40 participants to allow for physical distancing and must be pre-registered up to 72 hours in advance.
The City says that the discounted skate is available thanks to sponsors including Vancouver Island University, Lions Club of Nanaimo, Herold Engineering, and many more.

Sessions must be booked up to 72 hours online at recreation.nanaimo.ca, by phoneing 250-756-5200 or by visiting one of the City of Nanaimo’s recreation centres.
