Victoria Police are looking for witnesses to come forward after a hit and run incident on Hillside Ave last week.
In a statement released Monday, police say a woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street at Hillside Ave and Blackwood Street on foot.
The incident took place at around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17.
Instead of stopping, the driver of the vehicle then took off and sped through a red light going eastbound on Hillside Ave.
The victim was left with non-life threatening injuries, and she reported the incident to police the next day.
The suspect is described as a South Asian woman in her 50s, and she was driving a beige sedan.
