Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Malahat Wednesday morning.
According to the weather agency, rain and wet snow associated with an offshore low will continue over the Malahat Highway.
Snow began falling over the section of the Trans Canada Highway Tuesday evening with another 10 cm of snow expected today.
An additional snowfall of 5 cm is expected near the summit.
As the low begins to drift southward, the snow will ease later this morning.
Make sure to check highway conditions before heading out and avoid any unnecessary travel.
