The Greater Victoria School District has confirmed a COVID-19 exposure at an elementary school in Esquimalt.
According to a tweet by SD61 on Tuesday evening, Ecole Macaulay Elementary School has experienced the exposure.
Potential COVID-19 exposure dates at the elementary school are January 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
Island Health is currently conducting contract tracing, the tweet says, and if an individual may have been exposed, Island Health will contact them directly.

22 new cases were reported in the Island Health region on Tuesday, and as of today, there are 195 active cases remaining.
By Health Service Delivery Area, they are:
• South Island: 22 | Total cases: 418
• Central Island: 157| Total cases: 785
• North Island: 16 | Total cases: 274
One new death was reported in the Island Health region today, for a total of 19 deaths to date.
