The Greater Victoria School District has issued a second COVID-19 exposure at another elementary school in the region.
In a tweet, the district confirmed View Royal Elementary School has experienced a COVID-19 exposure.
The potential exposure occurred on Wednesday, January 27th, according to a letter sent to parents on January 30th.
Island Health is currently conducting contact tracing.
If an individual may have been exposed, Island Health will contact them directly.
On January 26th, it was confirmed Ecole Macaulay Elementary School experienced an exposure of the virus as well.
Potential COVID-19 exposure dates at that elementary school are January 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
As of this publication, there are 233 active COVID-19 cases in the Island Health Region.
