A traffic stop in East Sooke last week led to the arrest of four people, and seizure of a firearm, imitation firearms and drugs.
Around 11:25 p.m. last Wednesday, January 6th, Sooke RCMP officers were conducting traffic stops when they spotted a driver suspected of impaired driving.
The vehicle was pulled over and according to police, the driver and three other people – two men and two women – were taken into police custody.
During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered a fire arm and two replica firearms along with a quantity of illicit drugs. Police also seized plates from the uninsured vehicle and towed it from the scene.
