The first robbery occurred on January 30th, 2021 at approximately 5:30 p.m., in the 200 block of Gorge Road West.

A suspect entered a business, approached a cashier and handed over a note demanding money.

The suspect fled the store prior to police being called with an undisclosed amount of money.

Two days later, on February 1st, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the suspect returned to the same plaza and entered a different business.

They followed a similar method, approaching a cashier and producing a note demanding money. In this second incident, they also threatened the cashier with a firearm.

The suspect was able to flee prior to police arrival, again with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers were able to identify a 49-year-old local man as the suspect they believe is responsible for both robberies. He was arrested in the afternoon on February 5, 2021.

The man has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of using an imitation firearm.
