Victoria Police have released a photo of a suspect they say assaulted a teen on a BC Transit bus in 2019.
The incident occurred on September 27th, 2019, between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the number 15 bus, and was just reported to police on January 30th, 2021.
The unknown man assaulted a girl on a BC Transit bus. Police said the youth was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as being about 50-years-old. He is Caucasian with a heavy build and long white hair. At the time of the incident, the suspect wore a collared shirt and a toque.
VicPD are asking for assistance in identifying him and gathering information from witnesses.
A witness was reported to have intervened in the incident, putting themselves in between the suspect and youth. Investigators are looking to speak with this witness as they work to gather more information.
