It’s not over yet, Vancouver Island.
Another special weather advisory was issued for Greater Victoria early Thursday morning.
“Pacific moisture will begin to collide with the arctic front along Vancouver Island Friday night,” a statement from Environment Canada reads.
The two systems together will bring significant snowfall, the weather agency warns.
Snow is forecasted to start Friday evening and continue through to Saturday morning.
It’s uncertain at this time how much snow will fall, but Environment Canada says computer models are predicting about of 15 to 25 cm.
So while the temperatures are way below average at the moment, they are expected to rebound as the weekend progresses.
