A 10–year-old child has suffered life-threatening injuries after an incident in the pool at Hotel Zed in downtown Victoria.
The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
According to scanner reports, paramedics attempted CPR on the child and they were eventually rushed to hospital.
In a tweet, VicPD confirmed they responded to an incident at a hotel pool in the 3100-block of Douglas Street.
“A child suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and transported to hospital,” VicPD said in their tweet.
“Officers are supporting the family & investigating. This file is in the early stages. Updates as we are able.”
