We still can’t figure out how a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Wednesday afternoon was able to flee the scene after the front-end of the SUV sustained considerable damaged.
In a tweet, Saanich Police said they were able to intercept a driver who fled the scene of a collision in Victoria.
The vehicle suffered considerable front-end damage on the driver’s side, including one wheel which was bent sideways.
The vehicle, police say, was damaged as per the photo and was still being driven.
The driver was arrested at the scene and was served with a 90-day driving prohibition.
Additional charges are pending.
