A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a violent offender they believe is in the Nanaimo area.
Stuart Forrest, a 31-year-old man with connections throughout central Vancouver Island, is wanted for breach of probation.
He is considered violent, with a history of possessing weapons including replica firearms.
Forrest is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 190 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He also has numerous tattoos.
The warrant was issued by the Abbotsford Police Department. Nanaimo RCMP are investigating locally.
