22 vehicles in Langford had their tires slashed over Easter long weekend

West Shore RCMP are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a mischief spree that resulted in over twenty vehicles with slashed tires.

The spree occurred during the Easter long weekend between April 2nd and April 4th in the area of Brock Avenue and Fergus Court in Langford.

Mounties canvassed the area for witnesses and potential evidence to further their investigation.

This happened simultaneously with April being Auto Crime Enforcement Month.

Here are a few tips from the RCMP:
• Remove or hide all valuables and belongings
• Lock your vehicle
• Ensure keys are with you and not left in vehicle
• Park in a well-lit, high traffic area
• Use an immobilizer
