Don’t be alarmed if you spot a very large plane hovering over the Nanaimo harbour this week.
Around noon on Wednesday, April 7th, NAV Canada will be conducting a flight inspection over the Nanaimo harbour.
The inspection will assess and verify the safety and performance of the Nanaimo Harbour Airport.
The total flight time will be about 15 minutes, weather permitting.
The flight is coordinated by NAV Canada who are working closely with the Nanaimo Harbour Master and the Nanaimo Airport Manager.
