There are now a total of 350 people in hospital due to COVID-19, 132 of whom are in critical care — ICU or acute care units.
14 new people have died from COVID-related causes, making the provincial death toll at 1,648.
There are no new outbreaks to report.
There are currently 3 outbreaks in long-term care and assisted-living facilities and 2 outbreaks in acute-care facilities.

Island Health reported 34 new cases on the island today and 126 active cases.

- South Vancouver Island Active cases: 48 (-18) Total Cases: 1,856
- Central Vancouver Island Active cases: 56 (-6) Total Cases: 2,388
- North Vancouver Island Active cases: 28 (+1) Total Cases: 665

There were no new deaths in the Island Health region.
