A Victoria favourite, Kid Sister Ice Cream, has opened a new location after being forced to close its doors back in February.
Kid Sister Ice Cream spent ten years in their original location in Fan Tan Alley, becoming a Downtown Victoria ice cream staple, before they were forced to close their doors due to lease issues.
At that time, the shop had been closed since September 2020, as part of a regular seasonal closure and was scheduled to re-open in March.
Co-owners Brett Black and Colleen Rode were incredibly thankful for the support shown by the community and expressed hopes of re-opening the popular ice cream shop in a new location.
Since that announcement, eager fans have followed Kid Sister Ice Cream’s social media for updates.
Fans of the shop can once again enjoy the shop’s local, made from scratch ice cream treats. The new, ‘mini outlet’, located in Cook Street Village, is selling pints, half pints and paletas (popsicles).
Come early as selection changes often and some flavours sell out fast!
- Locations: 230 Cook Street
- Hours: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday to Sunday
