High school students graduating from grade 12 this spring will have one more reason to celebrate as BC Transit’s GradPASS returns in June.
The program offers two days of free bus rides on BC Transit during the month of June. Graduates can choose which days they would like to use, and the days do not have to be consecutive.
GradPASS is just over thirty years old, first introduced in Vancouver in 1988 and then in 1990 in Victoria.
The passes will be distributed to students through participating schools in late May. Graduates can then scratch off their two chosen travel days and present the card with valid student I.D. when boarding.
More information about GradPASS is available on the BC Transit website.
