It’s being billed as “the ultimate natural high” and it’s opening this summer, a roughly 30 to 40-minute drive north of Victoria.

The Malahat SkyWalk, a viewing platform 250 metres above sea level, is almost ready to accept guests.

With a planned opening in July 2021, the SkyWalk promises an accessible look at Vancouver Island with a spiral ramp that can be used by wheelchairs and walkers.

The attraction will also include a picnic area, cafe, shops and a 600m elevated TreeWalk and nature trail.

It will all be located just off the Malahat Highway, by Spectacle Creek.

The company’s website says they recommend 90 minutes of time for visitors to experience the attraction.

Tickets are not yet on sale. Victoria Buzz reached out to the Malahat SkyWalk for information on prices but did not hear back before publication.
