UPDATE: A suspect has been identified in the spitting assault incident on school grounds on May 14th.
It was alleged that the suspect spat at a school employee while students were out at recess. The investigation continues. No charges have been laid.

Saanich Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of heckling kids about COVID-19.
According to the Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers, the unmasked woman walked through a schoolyard and began telling children nearby that COVID-19 was fake.
When the woman was confronted by staff, they say she became verbally aggressive and spat in the face of the staff member.
Saanich Police confirmed to Victoria Buzz that the incident took place on May 14th but would not release which school it occurred at.
