Here’s the scoop on West Shore’s newest ice cream parlour.
Parachute Ice Cream, a downtown Victoria favourite, is expanding with a brand new location in Langford.
The ice cream shop focuses on creating products made entirely in house or by using products from local businesses as much as possible.
However, all ice cream and most ice cream additions (such as the brownies in the Brown Butter Brownie Ice Cream) are made in house.
With their original location on Bridge Street, the company is now opening a second location in Westshore.
The ice cream shop is currently running a contest on their Facebook page, where participants can suggest a flavour of ice cream that would ‘capture’ the Westshore. The flavour suggestion with the most likes and their inventor will win 4 free pints!
The new location, #129 735 Goldstream Avenue, has not yet announced their official grand opening.
