One woman was arrested Thursday following an investigation after she was suspected of drug trafficking at a multi-unit temporary housing facility in Victoria.

After receiving several complaints surrounding the woman’s suspicious behaviour, VicPD Strike Force officers began gathering evidence that the woman was trafficking drugs in Victoria.

On Thursday, April 29th, the woman was arrested by members of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT) after she was observed trafficking drugs in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.

VicPD Strike Force officers, working with GVERT, later executed a search warrant on the woman’s vehicle and residence. During which, officers recovered quantities of cocaine consistent with drug trafficking as well as suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.

The woman will face charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Anyone with information is asked to contact VicPD at (250) 995-7654.
