Beloved beer and meat festival to return to Victoria in September

Share

As news of events returning after COVID-19 continues to trickle in, another popular festival has announced their plans to return to Victoria this fall.

Brewery & The Beast, a well-known beer and meat festival, is slated to take place Sunday, September 12th.

Though the location is still to be determined, in past years, the one-day BBQ and brew event has taken place at Phillip’s Brewery’s Back Yard location.

The festival did take a brief hiatus last year in 2020 due to the pandemic, but their return in September is sure to be a comeback to remember.

Brewery & The Beast typically sells out quickly, and though tickets are not on sale yet, you can keep an eye on their website and social media to see when they’re available.

The event sees a large group of chefs from Victoria sharpen their knives for a unique culinary experience. In addition to meat education, Brewery and the Beast provides guests the opportunity to taste and sample dishes from some of the top chefs in the city.

Local chefs showcase their talent on the plate with tantalizing samples representing a vast array of meat preparations, including whole animal roasts, charcuterie, classic BBQ, traditional, ethnic, modern, and exotic dishes prepared from an assortment of conventional and rare cuts of protein.

Familiar faces such as Bin 4 Burger Lounge will be in attendance, along with a couple new ones, like the popular eatery Dumpling Drop.

Beer, wine and spirits are also available from a few local favourites, such as Phillips and Parallel 49.

Carnivores and beer lovers, are you ready?
