Four people were sent to hospital early Sunday morning after a vehicle crashed into a building in downtown Victoria.
The single-vehicle crash occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of Fisgard and Blanshard Streets.
Of the five people in the vehicle, four were transported to hospital.
According to VicPD, two of the occupants suffered potentially life-altering injuries in the collision and remain in hospital.
All other occupants the were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and have since been released.
Police said two buildings were damaged in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and transported to cells.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
