If you think you have heard the sound of more helicopters flying in and around Victoria lately, you are not mistaken.

According to an email statement from the Canadian Armed Forces, residents of Sidney and the Greater Victoria area may notice an increase in military helicopter activity in the afternoons and late evenings over the next week and a bit.

Personnel from the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command are conducting routine training around Constance Bank and Albert Head from June 7th to 18th.

As a result, residents may notice more military helicopter activity throughout the Greater Victoria area in the afternoons and into the late evening.

Victoria Buzz has reached out to the Canadian Armed Forces to learn more on what residents could expect to see in and around the city.
