Mount Washington opens this weekend for ziplining, sightseeing, and mountain biking

Ziplining season has begun at Mount Washington.

The four zipline adventure, called Eagle’s Flight ZipTour, opens this weekend, Saturday June 5th, taking anyone who dares, around the entire mountain.

Mount Washington is home to the longest zipline on Vancouver Island spanning a total length of 2,313 metres (7,589 ft) and descends over 415 metres (1,364 vertical ft), with riders reaching a speed of 100 kilometres per hour almost instantly when they step off the top platform.

Note: Riders have the freedom to adjust their own speed!

The three-hour excursion is set at $129 for an adult, $119 for a youth (ages 13-18), and $99 for a child.

The minimum age to participate in any of the ZipTour rides is 10 years.

Tours start from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends in June, then beginning June 25th tours will start at the same time daily.
