According to police, two women who have reportedly been using distraction techniques to steal cash from businesses have been making their way through Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

The women were first spotted in Saskatoon on March 19, 2021. Since then, they have been linked to a string of incidents totalling $7,386.00 in stolen money from stores across the three western provinces.

West Shore RCMP say they were most recently seen April 11, 2021 at the Save on Foods on McCallum Road in Langford.

“Someone knows who these women are,” says Cst Meighan Massey, of the West Shore RCMP.

“They are traveling across Canada, in the middle of a pandemic, victimizing businesses as they go. We are asking for anyone with information regarding these crimes to please contact police.”

Photos of the suspects have been released by the West Shore RCMP.

In some instances, police say they were observed leaving in a dark coloured minivan.

Anyone with information on the identity of these women is asked to contact the West Shore RCMP at (250)474-2264.
