A Sooke man is planning some home upgrades and a college fund for his daughter after he won $100,000 on a scratch and win ticket.

Colin Davidson won the prize on a “Set for Life” game and says he couldn’t quite believe it was true.

“I had to look at the back of the ticket to make sure that I wasn’t fooling myself…it feels so surreal!”

The lucky winner bought his ticket at the Pharmasave on West Coast Road. Davidson was quick to share the news with his partner.

“I asked them to look to make sure it was real and get a new set of eyes to look it over. When we realized we won, we did a happy dance. It was quite an enjoyable afternoon.”

Davidson says he will now turn to putting the money aside for his daughter’s education and for home renovations.
