The BC Ministry of Health reported 123 new cases of COVID-19 for a three-day period from Friday, July 9th to Monday, July 12th.
There have been 148,154 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

- Vancouver Coastal Health: 38
- Fraser Health: 38

- Interior Health: 42
- Northern Health: 0
There are currently 658 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
145,722 people who tested positive have recovered.
There are now a total of 66 people in hospital due to COVID-19, 14 of whom are in critical care — ICU or acute care units.
In the past 72 hours, no new COVID-related deaths have been reported, making the provincial death toll 1,760.
Outbreaks
There are currently 3 active outbreaks in acute care facilities: Laurel Place at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Eagle Ridge Hospital (Fraser Health) and Royal Inland Hospital (Interior Health).
Island Health:
Island Health reported 5 new cases of COVID-19 in the Vancouver Island region and 21 active cases.
Breakdown of cases on Vancouver Island:
- South Vancouver Island Active cases: 10 (+3)│Total Cases: 1985
- Central Vancouver Island Active cases: 8 (-4) │ Total Cases: 2491
- North Vancouver Island Active cases: 3 (+0) │Total Cases: 706
2 people remain in hospital with 1 in ICU.
There have been no new deaths in the Island Health region today, and a total of 41 deaths on Vancouver Island.
Vaccinations
79.9% of all eligible adults in B.C. and 78.7% of those 12 and older have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
In addition, 47.7% of all eligible adults in B.C. and 44.6% of those 12 and older have received their second dose.
To date, 5,741,691 (+175,708) doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in BC; 2,068,450 (+152,531) of which are second doses.
