The BC Ministry of Health reported 41 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, July 14th.
There have been 148,228 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
New cases were reported in these health regions:

There are currently 639 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
145,817 people who tested positive have recovered.
There are now a total of 65 people in hospital due to COVID-19, 11 of whom are in critical care — ICU or acute care units.
There were no reports of deaths from COVID-related causes, making the provincial death toll at 1,760.
Outbreaks
There is currently one outbreak in acute care: Laurel Place at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Fraser Health.
Island Health:
Island Health reported 1 new case of COVID-19 in the Vancouver Island region and 23 active cases.
Breakdown of cases on Vancouver Island:
- South Vancouver Island Active cases: 11 (+0)│Total Cases: 1986
- Central Vancouver Island Active cases: 9 (+1) │ Total Cases: 2492
- North Vancouver Island Active cases: 3 (+0) │Total Cases: 706
2 people remain in hospital with 1 in ICU.
There have been no new deaths in the Island Health region today, and a total of 41 deaths on Vancouver Island.
Vaccinations
79.3% of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 47.3% received their second dose.
In addition, 80.3% of all eligible adults in B.C. have received their first dose and 50.5% have received their second dose.
To date, 5,872,611 (+67,070) doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in BC; 2,191,315 (+66,136) of which are second doses.
