A fire that engulfed a structure in an industrial park in Duncan caused significant damage but did not injure anyone, according to the RCMP.

The North Cowichan/Duncan detachment is crediting a pair of officers with a swift evacuation after they spotted a plume of smoke on July 13th at approximately 6 p.m.

With black smoke pouring out of the 2900 block of Boys Road, the officers investigated and found a building fully involved in flame.
