“Our [Saanich Police] priority is everyone’s safety. All of the residents in the area have been cleared and evacuated,” Constable Markus Anastasiades told Victoria Buzz.

Witnesses tell Victoria Buzz there is a heavy police presence, including the Emergency Response team.
