A Parksville resident had her very own dreams come true this past weekend after winning the Lotto 6/49.

Frances Lloyd won a portion of the $6-million jackpot after enjoying a low-key Sunday morning at home.

According to BCLC, after wandering to her laptop to check her ticket from the June 19th Lotto 6/49 draw, the Parksville woman couldn’t believe what she saw.

She’d matched 6/6 numbers to split the $6-million jackpot for a $3 million win!

“I have always dreamt of winning,” Lloyd said.

“This is my big pot!”

The ticket was bought at the Shoppers Drug Mart on East Island Highway in Parksville, BCLC released in a statement.

To celebrate, Lloyd enjoyed dinner and champagne toasts with her family.

She intends to purchase a new home with her newfound fortune, as well as gift her family some of the winnings.

I don’t quite believe it yet,” Lloyd said.

“It’s a big thing to win.”

Like BCLC says, remember to play for fun, not to make money!
