Police are asking the public for help to find a 31-year-old man who has gone missing from the Comox Valley.

Darrell Featherstone was reported missing to the Comox Valley RCMP on August 6, 2021. Police were told he had stopped showing up for work, and friends and family have not heard from him.

“It is unusual for Darrell not to be in touch with his friends and family for more than a few days,” said Cst. Monika Terragni.

Terragni says Featherstone’s truck has been located. Members of the volunteer Comox Valley Search and Rescue are assisting the RCMP to search the area.

Featherstone is described as a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build and dirty blond hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a camouflage hoodie, grey Carhartt pants, and work boots.

The missing Comox Valley man also has some distinctive tattoos. These include a sleeve on his left arm, and a silhouette of a buck’s head which is the symbol of the Browning outdoor company on his upper right arm.

Anyone who sees Darrell Featherstone or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Comox Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at comoxvalleycrimestoppers.bc.ca.
