Next week, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy nature, art and music all together on a peaceful stroll.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on August 24th to 26th, the public is invited to visit Outerbridge Park for ‘Voices in Nature’.

The event is organized by The District of Saanich’ s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and Pacific Opera Victoria.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Pacific Opera Victoria and welcome both invited artists and the community to Outerbridge Park – a hidden gem in Saanich Parks,” said Community Arts Programmer Brenda Weatherston.

“Voices in Nature provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the sights and sounds of the natural world, music and the arts, and reconnect with our community.”

Not only will attendees be able to take a beautiful stroll through nature, they will also be treated with vocal, instrumental and poetry performances as well as visual artwork along the trail.

Artists include Brianna Bear (artist), Louis Dillon (bass-baritone), Kieran Foss (tenor), Michelle Poirier Brown (poet) and more.

Admission to the event is free. Although registration is not required, those interested in attending are invited to do so on the Voices in Nature event page at Saanich.ca or on the Facebook event page. Registering allows the event to predict the number of attendees and plan accordingly.
