Comox Valley RCMP seeking public assistance in identifying robbery suspect

Comox Valley RCMP are looking to identify a suspect who robbed a Cumberland business with a firearm last week. 

On October 21st, at approximately 11 p.m., Comox Valley RCMP responded to a report of a robbery on the 2700-block of Dunsmuir Avenue.

The male suspect allegedly entered the business with what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money. 

Following the robbery, the suspect fled on foot and was not located. 

“The suspect was wearing a black Adidas hoodie, black pants, black gloves, and a green face covering described as a scarf or bandana,” said Constable Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer for the Comox Valley RCMP,

“Investigators from the Comox Valley RCMP Major Crime Unit are in the area again today gathering evidence,” she added.
