Lake Cowichan RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 61-year-old man who was last seen in the Fairy Creek watershed area.
Gerald Kearny was last seen on October 13th at approximately 10 a.m. while walking between two encampments along the Granite Mainland Service Road.
He was reported missing to police on October 21st.
Kearny is described as a Caucasian, 5’4”, 210 pounds with shoulder length grey hair. He is also known by his camp name “Smiley”.
