Lonely Planet recognized our little slice of heaven as a top ten region for travel in its Best in Travel 2022 collection.
From the beaches of Tofino, to the tiny town of Shirley, to the snowy tops of Mount Washington, Vancouver Island offers a myriad of beautiful and diverse experiences.
Best in Travel 2022 is Lonely Planet’s 17th annual collection, with this edition placing emphasis on the best sustainable travel experiences — ensuring travellers will have a positive impact wherever they choose to go.
We’re honoured that Vancouver Island made it in the ninth spot, among some other amazing regions.
