From hand-foraged mushrooms by the Executive Chef himself to in-house baked breads, meat smoked on site and so much more, you’ll know your meal is coming from the roots of the Cowchan Valley community – sometimes, quite literally!

The Lakehouse at Shawnigan has created an atmosphere inviting guests to a dining experience like no other, and Executive Chef Ryan Bissell has created a menu, and levels of service, that will delight everyone.
Though casual, the interior holds a sophisticated touch with expansive vaulted ceilings, wood beams reminiscent of a cozy log cabin, and touches of class throughout; not to mention an abundance of natural light from the windows overlooking the lake.
