An almost-$8 million floating resort is now up for sale near Tofino.
The Tofino Wilderness Resort, located in the Clayoquot Sound, is a 20 minute boat road from the remote Island community and is currently selling for $7.995 million.
The resort is 126 acres and includes a “floating main lodge,” a separate long house, and a range of amenities.
Its most illustrious feature is the freshwater swimming grotto within the resort.
According to the listing, the property comes complete with vessels and recreational equipment, as well as recently upgraded staff accommodations.
It has frontage and virtually exclusive access to two trout-filled freshwater lakes and offers access to hundreds of miles of west coast shoreline, beaches and back country roads.
