The BC Ministry of Health reported 358 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, November 30th.
There have been 218,426 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
New cases were reported in these health regions:
- Vancouver Coastal Health: 53
- Fraser Health: 107
- Island Health: 57
- Interior Health: 85
- Northern Health: 56
- Resident outside Canada: 0
There are currently 2,889 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
213,053 people who tested positive have recovered.
There are now a total of 300 people in hospital due to COVID-19, 104 of whom are in critical care — ICU or acute care units.
There were no reports of deaths from COVID-related causes, making the provincial death toll 2,333.
Outbreaks
There have been no new health-care facility outbreaks in the province.
The outbreaks at Abbotsford Regional Hospital (Fraser Health) has been declared over.
There are a total of 5 ongoing health care outbreaks in the province.
There are currently no health care outbreaks in the Island Health region.
Island Health:
Island Health reported 57 new cases of COVID-19 in the Vancouver Island region and 471 active cases.
Breakdown of cases on Vancouver Island:
- South Vancouver Island Active cases: 106 │Total Cases: 4861
- Central Vancouver Island Active cases: 212 │ Total Cases: 5986
- North Vancouver Island Active cases: 153 │Total Cases: 1784
54 people remain in hospital with 15 in ICU.
There were no new deaths reported in the Island Health region today, and a total of 119 deaths on Vancouver Island.
Vaccinations
As of Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, 84.8% of eligible people five and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 81.7% have received their second dose.
In addition, 91.1% of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 87.8% received their second dose, and 10% have received a third dose.
To date, 8,688,112 (+15,918) doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in BC; 4,069,988 (+2,210) of which are second doses.
