If you’re reading this you’re probably not a Bell customer.

That’s because Bell’s entire combined network is down.

Across the country, Bell customers are reporting outages. Issues started to occur Monday morning, around 11:00 a.m, and are peaking this afternoon.

According to Bell, the service outage is due to multiple fibre cuts as a result of adverse weather conditions.

While the outages are across Canada, Environment Canada issued a warning for BC that high winds may cause power outages on Monday morning.

BC Hydro customers have also been experiencing power outages today.

This morning, over 1100 BC Hydro customers near Sidney and Duncan experienced power outages; meanwhile, a tree down on Saturna Island caused over 200 people to also experience power outages.
