There is exactly one month until Christmas and BC Transit wants to get you in the holiday spirit!
This weekend, and throughout the month of December, BC Transit will be decking out buses for the holiday, participating in Christmas parades and gathering donations for local charities.
Check out these four BC Transit holiday events happening in and around Victoria:
Santa Lights Parade
To kick off the holiday season, BC Transit will be participating in the 39th annual Peninsula Co-op Santa Light Parade this Saturday, November 27th.
A decorated BC Transit bus will make its way through downtown in the parade.

Stuff The Bus
Next, residents of Victoria are invited to the Save-on-Foods at Tilicum Centre on Saturday, December 4th to fill a BC Transit bus with cash, new toys, new clothing, and non-perishable food items.
All donations from the event will go to the Mustard Seed Food Bank and The Salvation Army.

Truck Parade
BC Transit will also be participating in the Island Equipment Operators Association Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive, giving you another opportunity to see a decked out BC Transit bus.
- Where: Starts at the Breakwater District at Ogden Point
- When: 5:45 p.m., Saturday, December 4th
Santa Bus
On December 10th and 11th, keep an eye out for Santa driving a red-nosed Santa Bus throughout a number of Victoria bus routes.
Not only will Santa be driving, he will also be handing out candy canes and free rides to locals!
All BC Transit holiday events will follow COVID-19 safety protocols with additional safety measures for the Stuff the Bus event. Face coverings are mandatory on board all BC Transit buses.
