The Victoria Firefighters Association has released their annual calendar, featuring their very own team members and it is available now!
The Professional Firefighters of Greater Victoria 2022 Calendar will take on a new spin this year, highlighting how the firefighters cope with the stress of being first responders.
In this ‘Between the Calls’ calendar, each firefighter featured will open up about the coping mechanisms they use to lead a balanced lifestyle and combat mental health issues despite their high pressure job.
The calendar is now available for purchase on the Victoria Firefighters website. Each calendar is $25 with a $5 flat shipping rate anywhere in Canada.
The calendar will also be available at several locations in the Greater Victoria area including many Thrifty Foods, Save on Foods, Red Barn Markets, Country Grocer, Market on Millstream, Market on Yates, Fairway Market, Old Farm Market, Pharmasave, London Drugs, Bolen Books and Liquor Plus.
100% of the profits raised from the calendar will be donated back into the local community.
Since 2009, the Greater Victoria Firefighters Association has been supporting the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.
From 2010 to 2020, they were able to raise and donate a total of $250,000 with another pledge to raise an additional $250,000 over the next ten years.
