Saanich Police are alerting the public of another attempted child-luring incident which took place earlier this week.

On Monday, November 15th, just before 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a call near Claremont Secondary School.

According to the report, a 10-year-old child had been approached by a man in a vehicle. The man attempted to lure the child to his car who refused.

The child made it home safely and told their parents about the incident.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a red sweater with a white collared shirt underneath.

The suspect’s vehicle was also described as an older, faded silver sedan.

This incident comes after several other child luring incidents in Oak Bay, Topaz Park and two cases on the Saanich Peninsula this month.
